Setting the standard

We’re market leaders in jack-up high-pressure riser analysis, with extensive experience designing, managing, and operating many projects worldwide. Our team delivers in-depth VIV, wave fatigue, and operating envelope analysis, ensuring risers are optimised, safe, and reliable. Benefit from actionable insights that can be directly applied to improve offshore performance and reduce project risk.

High-Pressure High-Temperature Riser Systems

Analysing your setup

Understanding your jack-up high-pressure riser set-up early is critical. Without thorough analysis, equipment may be poorly specified, operational limits unclear, and offshore risks higher. Considering the day-rates of jack-ups, delays or downtime can quickly escalate costs. Our tailored analysis gives you clarity and confidence before key decisions are made.

Our in-house Offshore analysts enable:

  • Defined and clear operating envelopes to avoid connector failures and ensure correct equipment selection
  • Mitigation against overpull and tension issues during riser running and retrieval
  • Reduced wave & driving fatigue and VIV risks to support long-term system reliability
  • Trusted, experience-led guidance through a collaborative, tailored approach

Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) assessment

Evaluates the likelihood of VIV lock-on and determines whether VIV suppression devices are required and/or whether a VIV fatigue assessment should be undertaken.

Operating envelope analysis

Determines the conditions under which the high-pressure riser, connectors, and surface equipment connections or flanges are acceptable.

Wave fatigue analysis

Estimates conductor fatigue damage from repeated wave loading, combined with driving fatigue, to calculate the lifetime of the well.

Pressure Tested Analysis

Our high pressure riser analysis provides operators with clear, technically grounded insight into system behaviour across a wide range of jack up environments. Drawing on experience built from analysing high pressure riser systems for over 285 rigs worldwide, we assess Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) to understand lock on likelihood and determine whether suppression measures or fatigue assessment are required. Operating envelope reviews define the conditions under which risers, connectors and surface interfaces remain acceptable. We also evaluate wave induced fatigue alongside driving fatigue to estimate lifetime performance and highlight integrity risks early.

This structured approach ensures analysis outcomes can be confidently interpreted and directly applied to planning, design and operational decisions.
