Conductor analysis was requested for two wells on a platform located in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, in a water depth of approximately 70 m, and was drilled using a jack-up rig. The project was to verify that the planned conductor and retrofit subsea guide would meet requirements.

The platform had been in operation for 17 years already, and in order to increase revenue and prevent the need to install a second platform, the client decided to extend the existing platform and use the remaining two platform slots for production wells.

Aquaterra Energy was asked to complete conductor analysis to verify that the planned conductor and retrofit subsea guide would meet requirements.
