The Solution

Aquaterra can provide heavy duty, light weight cold cutting equipment for both surface and subsea applications. Pipe up to 56” in diameter can be cut quickly and easily. J and V chamfers can also be performed both internally and externally. Where rig air supply limitations exist, Aquaterra can provide a hydraulically driven cutter complete with its own electronic power pack; this system can also be used to perform cold cuts subsea.

The field proven cold cutting equipment can be operated by just one person and a dual motor design ensures reliability and efficiency.

This reliability and speed of cutting was demonstrated on an offshore project, where Aquaterra was called to replace an existing third party contractor.
