Aquaterra has a date with Royalty
Two representatives from award-winning Aquaterra Energy visited Buckingham Palace on Monday 13th July 2009 after the firm was awarded the equivalent of a company knighthood in this year’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.
Mark Boyd, Chairman of Aquaterra Energy and Robert Biggs, Engineering Design Manager attended a special evening reception for 2009 Queen’s Award winners, hosted by Her Majesty The Queen and other members of the Royal Family.
Aquaterra Energy won its Queen’s Award in the International Trade category in April this year. The firm was commended for achieving an outstanding record in international trade, with exports accounting for more than 90% of the firms income.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise exist to champion the UK’s most enterprising, creative and sustainable organisations.
