"SureGrip" grabs attention

We were recently approached by one of our clients and requested to supply a tension ring to assist in the tensioning of their 30" riser system.
Aquaterra Energy provided one of their newly designed 30" "SureGrip" Tension Rings c/w 85Tonne SWL safety bow shackles, which was mobilized to the rig in good time prior to operations commencing.
During the running of the riser, the tension ring was prepared for installation by one of our Senior Service Engineers. When instructed by the client, the "SureGrip" Tension Ring was installed onto the 30" riser and the rig tension system attached and activated. The whole installation took only one hour, a vast improvement in time reported by other operators for similar installations.
The client commented that 'the rapid installation time was excellent and is just what's required in today's market when rig time is so expensive'.
Aquaterra Energy already has several clients looking to utilise the 30" "SureGrip" Tension Rings for their forthcoming projects and the company is also increasing it's portfolio of rental equipment by introducing a variety of Slim Line Tension Rings, in a range of sizes, complete with a newly deisgned 'Intelligent Passive' tensioning system.
