Aquaterra Energy launches its Sure Grip Tension Ring.
The Tension Ring is designed to provide a fast and flexible method for riser tensioning on jack-up drilling rigs.
It is quick to assemble and can be installed around the riser at any height position. It does not need a collar or connector for activation, or require special pipe preparation for its use.
This brings many advantages and time savings to the drilling procedure, allowing significant cost reductions over traditional tensioning methods.
Aquaterra currently has a number of clients lined up to utilise this new product and plans to secure further orders in the near future.
