Aquaterra is 5!
Aquaterra Energy is celebrating its 5th birthday! Founded on the 29th July 2005, Aquaterra has grown from a small business with just four founding members to an international venture with representation worldwide.
The company set itself high standards from the offset but Managing Director George Morrison is still astonished by Aquaterra’s achievements in its five short years, “When we started the business in 2005 we never expected to be where we are now – an international enterprise serving some of the biggest names in the oil and gas industry - it is thanks to our dedicated staff that we have made such achievements.”
The company has a success record of providing world-class engineering solutions to major operators. With growing representation in Aberdeen, the US, the Middle East and Far East, Aquaterra are keen to become the industry’s leading and most dependable supplier to the offshore industry.
In its five years Aquaterra has become an award-winning company, securing a number of accolades including the EDP’s Best New Business Award in 2007 and the prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2009.
The future is looking bright for Aquaterra with their investment in renewable energy in 2009, setting up a base at the OrbisEnergy centre in Lowestoft and working with a jack-up vessel supplier to assist with the movement of transition pieces on the Greater Gabbard wind farm. This investment helps the future of Aquaterra move forward with the ever-changing energy field.
Aquaterra is looking forward to building on their success for years to come and to celebrate many other milestone birthdays!
