Aquaterra present cheque to Big C

Aquaterra presented a sizeable cheque to the Big C Norfolk and Waveney for £3,635 raised in their Golf Invitational charity auction on the 15th September.

Aquaterra staff, clients and suppliers generously bid for items including a signed Manchester United football and an iPod touch. A cash collection also followed with donators digging deep to raise as much money as possible for the Big C.

The Big C Norfolk and Waveney is Aquaterra Energy’s primary charity. They are a local charity committed to the care and support of cancer sufferers and their families. Aquaterra has sponsored several Big C events this year including the Annual Holkham Cycle Ride and a James Bond themed Ball, both held in October.

Sharon Hulbert, PR & Corporate Fundraising Relations Manager for Big C was presented the cheque by Aquaterra Energy's Operations Manager John Dyble and Marketing Assistant Gemma Fulcher.

Sharon commented, "We were absolutely delighted when Aquaterra Energy contacted Big C in the summer to say that they were going to support us as their chosen charity for three years. They have already helped by sponsoring a number of our fundraising initiatives and raised this amazing amount from an auction and from donations at their golf day. They really are an excellent example to other companies and we are extremely grateful for their support and generosity."
